Dennis Haydon
“Dennie” Haydon, a partner in Haydon U.S., is a distinguished graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and received Second Year Honors (MBA) at Harvard Business School. An overseas combat veteran, he is a recipient of the Bronze Star. Haydon taught finance and economics in the Dept. of Social Sciences at West Point, and served as aide to a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in Wash., D.C.
In the Merger Group at Morgan Stanley & Co. in New York, Dennie worked on large underwritings, as well as merger and acquisition and corporate advisory projects.
Since leaving New York, he has served as CEO, President, COO, CFO, Receiver, Trustee and Advisor in a wide range of over 40 corporate restructuring, transition and growth assignments across the U.S.; leading many of these companies on the ground. He most recently completed a designated director assignment in a successful SPAC merger, followed by a ten-month assignment as CFO in a transitioning private company.
Dennie has served on the Board of Trustees of the West Point Association of Graduates and is co-founder of the Doubleday Society, which built Johnson Stadium at West Point and supports the Army intercollegiate baseball program. Dennie is a life member of the U. S. Veterans of Foreign Wars and an Elder in the Presbyterian Church. He is an Emeritus member of the Exec. Advisory Board of the School of Business at Seattle Pacific University.
Dennie has completed a number of marathons and half-marathons; enjoys gardening, music (bassoonist), and golf; he is a U.S. history “buff.”
